A virtual DJ record-box ecosystem for organising digital music collections.
kr8's goal is to solve the problem of how browsing through digital music collections can feel like getting lost in a spreadsheet, by returning to the artwork-first browsing model of vinyl DJing.

Visual direction
The desktop interface aesthetic borrows from record sleeves and DJ hardware – dark backgrounds, vivid accents and strong typographic rhythm. In the app, album artwork takes centre stage, displayed in a stack layout reminiscent of flicking through a record bag. Minimal UI lets the music artwork do the talking.
