…and, exclusive to the book, interviews with Motohiro Kawashima (musician, Ancient), Henk Nieborg (artist, Thalion), Andrew Braybrook (programmer, Graftgold), Dylan Cuthbert (programmer, Argonaut, Nintendo) and David Rowe (illustrator).

The book features a dustjacket with exclusive art from illustrator David Rowe, and came with an optional t-shirt and audio cassette.

Dan Wood, presenter, The Retro Hour podcast

“We were lucky enough to work with Simon on creating our first book, which details the history of the video games industry. Simon was an absolute pleasure to work with, every step of the way. He was instrumental from the start, not only in refining our initial concepts but also in guiding us through the nuances of book design, such as dimensions and paper selections. His expertise in layout design transformed our vision into reality. We're immensely grateful for his dedication and skill, which were crucial in bringing our book to life. The end result is a book we are extremely proud of, and customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We could not have done it without Simon.“
